Attend NCUA Listening Sessions
Registration for sessions in all regions of the country will be free online.
At CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference in March, NCUA Board Chairman Debbie Matz announced the agency would hold a series of “listening sessions” in all regions of the country.
“We want to hear directly from credit union officials and volunteers about how we can improve our examination process and reduce or streamline our regulations,” says Chairman Matz. “We’re also open to hearing about any other actions we could take to achieve our shared goal of a safe and sound credit union industry.”
Registration for all sessions will be free online. Participation is open to the first 150 people who register. Par-ticipants will have opportunities to talk with NCUA Board members, senior NCUA staff, and supervisory exam-iners from the NCUA Region co-hosting each session.
Participants also will be invited to contribute to roundtable discussions with their peers. Find more details at ncua.gov.
