Nominations are open for the World Council of Credit Unions 2018 Distinguished Service Award (DSA). The prestigious award honors individuals and organizations that have provided outstanding service to credit union development outside their home country. DSA winners will be presented at the 2018 World Credit Union Conference, July 15-18 in Singapore.
The dates for the 2018 CUNA IRA Webinar Series have been announced. Beginning Jan. 24, this series will provide relevant insights and training for credit union employees to manage the influx of IRA related services and inquiries.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and Credit Unions for Kids announced the five winners of the 2017 Vote for Miracles campaign. Over the course of three weeks, more than 600,000 votes were cast more than doubling the vote total for last year’s promotion. The 2017 #VoteforMiracles promotion ends today after establishing a record of more than 500,000 votes over the three-week campaign. The voting, which will conclude at 11:59 P.M. CST this evening, is expected to heat up over the final few hours as the competition remains tight among the leading hospitals vying for $100,000 in prize money.
More than 100,000 fans of Children’s Miracles Network Hospitals have helped #VoteForMiracles surpass 300,000 votes with one week left in the campaign. More than 2,500 credit unions have also been recognized by the public who are asked during the voting process to “Choose their Credit Union”.
