MADISON, Wis. (2/17/15)--Harry Paul, co-author of "FISH! A Proven Way to Boost Morale and Improve Results," will keynote CUNA FUSE: Branch Operations and Business Development School Aug. 17-20 in Seattle.
The bestselling book addresses today's work issues and how to create a culture that nurtures flawless execution of work, promotes teamwork and is fulfilling and fun. These principles are illustrated through the organization at Seattle's world-famous Pike Place Market.
CUNA FUSE combines member experience and implementation strategies shared between branch operations and business development into a four-day program.
"Having been in this industry for almost a decade, I walked away from CUNA FUSE with fresh ideas, new resources, a supportive business development posse and a strategic focus for my credit union," said Natalie Bradley, community development manager of Ventura County CU, Ventura, Calif., with $677 million in assets, and a 2014 CUNA Credit Union Business Development Professional (CUBDP) designee.
Attendees have the opportunity to earn the CUBDP designation by successfully completing an on-site exam to demonstrate their skill and knowledge in business development.
"This school builds valuable skills and insightful perspectives to refine approaches to branch or business development," said Kathy Smith, CUNA instructional design manager.
CUNA FUSE focuses on finding new ways to learn from others, providing attendees with a better sense of the credit union movement and a refreshed approach to leadership. After four days of expert-led sessions and networking, attendees leave with takeaways to implement what they have learned in branch operations and business development.
