WASHINGTON (5/4/15)--CUNA announces a new way to keep credit union readers up-to-date and well-informed.
Today, CUNA unveils news.cuna.org. The site uses a state-of-the-art platform to present a collaborative effort by News Now and Credit Union Magazine (creditunionmagazine.com) to bring readers a one-stop website for all their information needs.
"For many years, credit unions have turned to CUNA publications for the best in news and thought leadership," Lisa McCue, vice president/editor-in-chief of News Now, and Ann Hayes Peterson, vice president/editor-in-chief of Credit Union Magazine, note in announcing the innovative new site.
“This includes legislative and regulatory updates, expert analysis, credit union best practices and service excellence, compliance information and tips, new products, economic and market trend data for strategic planning, leadership profiles, boardroom insights--and so much more.
"That won’t change. And now you will be able to turn to one site for all of your daily news--and you’ll find a refreshing, more convenient reader experience."
News Now subscribers will retain the convenience of receiving their daily news headlines in their early-morning inboxes and new subscribers can sign up now for their free subscription here. Also, News Now stories still will be prominently featured on the news ribbon at the bottom of the CUNA homepage at cuna.org.
"Just a click on any story will transport you to a new wealth of editorial content at your fingertips," McCue says.
The editorial project has been built with the full support of CUNA’s leadership team, and through the combined work of the CUNA editorial, information technology, member services, technology partners, design and marketing, and business development teams.
"Our team also includes you, the readers," say McCue and Peterson. "When you see the changes, let us know what you think. And with your feedback, we’ll keep things fresh and responsive." Contact Lisa McCue at firstname.lastname@example.org or NewsNow@cuna.coop, and Ann Peterson at email@example.com.
