FARMINGVILLE, N.Y. (5/6/15)--Teachers FCU (TFCU), Hauppage, N.Y., will host 12 paper-shredding events for the town of Brookhaven in 2015. “Brookhaven residents have been very enthusiastic about our shredding events, so now we are able to add six more thanks to our partnership with TFCU,” said Brookhaven Supervisor Ed Romaine. BALTIMORE (5/6/15)--MECU of Baltimore recently distributed Neighborhood Event Grants worth up to $1,000 to 116 neighborhood and community-based nonprofit organizations. This is the fourth year that the credit union has partnered with the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts. The grants will go to block parties, neighborhood beautification, back-to-school events and health fairs.
