MADISON, Wis. (6/2/15)--Credit union board members and non-financial managers can expand their understanding of financial management as it relates to credit union operations through the CUNA CU Finance for Non-Financial Managers and Volunteers eSchool.
The six-session course, led by Tim Harrington, president of the financial services consulting firm T.E.A.M. Resources, kicks off Aug. 19 and runs through Sept. 3.
Sessions range from financial basics to advanced topics. Ultimately, attendees will have the opportunity to earn their CUNA Board Financial Literacy Certificate, which will help credit unions comply with the National Credit Union Administration ruling that all board members must maintain a mandatory level of financial literacy.
