MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (6/3/15)--Two credit union service organizations (CUSOs) have completed the deployment of a collaborative item-processing platform.
CU*Answers, Grand Rapids, Mich., and eDOC Innovations, Middlebury, Vt., launched eDOC’s CheckLogic Manager item-processing platform for in-clearing and two-day check processing for CU*Answers customer-owners nationwide.
“CheckLogic is evidence of innovation benefiting credit unions through a comprehensive check-processing system built on the framework of digital transaction management, which we know is critical to sustainability for the future,” said Bret Weekes, president/CEO of eDOC Innovations.
CU*Answers CEO Randy Karnes added: “Check 21 and transacting based on images of checks gave us dozens of ways to work with members via a check.” Teller capture, remote deposit capture and check-enabled ATMs--combined with the traditional check-clearing processes--necessitate connectivity and back-office vision, he said.
