DALLAS (7/8/15)--MoneyGram, a provider of money transfer services, has re-launched its MoneyGram.com and mobile app in the United States for Apple and Android devices.
MoneyGram is a CUNA Strategic Services strategic alliance provider.
The platform allows customers to send money to roughly 200 countries and territories without needing to create an account, MoneyGram said.
Customers can check the status of transfers with a new "Track a Transfer" tool, and use phones or tablets to send money anywhere in the world at anytime.
"Our customers send money to family and friends to provide for life's essentials, fund emergency cash needs and celebrate big moments," said Pamela H. Patsley, MoneyGram's chair/CEO. "Behind our transactions, there are human stories that we want to facilitate. Every element of the design of the new MoneyGram.com started with the customer in mind."
The new platform is currently available for sending money that originates in the United States and is designed to scale globally, Patsley said.
