Fannie Mae introduces new interactive training tool

July 14, 2015

WASHINGTON (7/14/15)--Fannie Mae’s Housing Finance Institute (HFI)  is launching a new interactive training tool to help credit union staff navigate their job duties within the mortgage process.

Fannie Mae is a CUNA Strategic Services strategic alliance provider.

CUNA members have the benefit of accessing Fannie Mae’s HFI InDepth courses at a 50% discount through the end of the year.

Employees select the role they have in the mortgage process--underwriting, loan origination or quality control--and are presented with a comprehensive, customized training plan.

Each training plan outlines and links to the variety of training resources available through Fannie Mae that are best suited to the role.

The plan includes eLearning courses, virtual classrooms, job aids, frequently asked questions and more. Students can print out their recommended training plans and check off which resources have been accessed and when.

Classes feature task-based learning scenarios, discussions and limited class sizes so CUNA members are ensured a fully interactive learning experience.

The 50% discount for CUNA members is available by using the “AP50” code on the registration form.
