‘There’s one for you’: Conn. league launches consumer website

August 3, 2015

MERIDEN, Conn. (8/3/15)--The Credit Union League of Connecticut unveiled its new consumer-facing website with the tagline “There’s one for you.”

The message behind the site--ctcreditunions.org--is that regardless of age, location, employment or channel preference, there is a Connecticut credit union that fits every resident’s need.

The site features stories from members, including an anecdote from a member of Achieve Financial CU, Berlin, Conn., who switched to the credit union because of monthly fees charged by her bank. “The extra $144 a year she’s saving in fees is now going into an emergency savings account at the credit union and she feels much more confident about her financial future,” the website said.

It also encourages members to tell their stories using the #TheresOneForYou hashtag.

Visitors to the site can see how credit unions give back to their communities, learn about the prize-linked savings program Save to Win and find a credit union to join.

The website was developed in partnership with the league’s Consumer Awareness Committee and Your Marketing Co.
