O’FALLON, Mo. (9/10/15)--Gary Hinrichs has retired as president/CEO of West Community CU, O’Fallon, Mo., after 41 years of service with the credit union (St. Louis Business JournalSept. 9). When Hinrichs was named president/CEO in 1974 of what was them Brentwood Mutual CU, he was one of only two employees--and he was still in college earning his degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. “Gary has successfully guided our credit union during an era of tremendous challenge and growth,” said Michael Murphy, West Community CU board vice chair. “He has the board’s confidence, respect and admiration.
