WASHINGTON (9/15/15)--Several hearings on the fifth anniversary of the Dodd-Frank Act are scheduled in the U.S. Congress this week, as well as a nomination hearing for the U.S. Treasury undersecretary for terrorism and financial crime.
On Thursday, the Senate Banking Committee will conduct a hearing on the nomination of Adam Szubin to become the Treasury’s under secretary for terrorism and financial crimes. He has been the acting undersecretary since earlier this year. Prior to that he served as director of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Szubin’s hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. (ET).
