CUNA council paper addresses mobile and Web lending

September 22, 2015

MADISON, Wis. (9/22/15)--Implementing an effective mobile and Web lending strategy doesn’t happen overnight, and with ever-changing technology, that strategy will never be “finished,” but credit unions that build and execute a strong plan likely will find these avenues of lending worth the investment.

So concludes a new white paper, “Mobile and Web Lending: Optimizing for Member Demand,” now available from the CUNA Lending Council.

The council noted that being able to drive loans via mobile and Web channels will continue to be a critical strategy for credit unions.

The paper suggests ways credit unions can drive loan growth via mobile and web channels. It includes:

  • An introduction to mobile and Web lending;
  • Four factors that drive demand for mobile and Web lending;
  • How to start and optimize a mobile and Web lending approach;
  • The competitive landscape; and
  • Best practices from credit unions and industry providers.

CUNA Council members are eligible to receive complimentary copies of the paper, as well as more than 300 other white papers.
