NCUA data mining webinar set for Oct. 21

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (10/2/15)--Collecting data and effectively using it is the topic of a National Credit Union Administration webinar announced by the agency Thursday. “Data Mining: Golden Nuggets for Your Marketing Campaign” is scheduled for Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. (ET) and is free.

Vanessa Lowe, an economic development specialist with the NCUA’s Office of Small Credit Union Initiatives, will be joined by two marketing experts: Renee Sattiewhite, president of Sattiewhite Training Productions, Inc., and Amanda Thomas McMeans, founder and president of the marketing firm Two Score.

The discussion will cover topics that include:

  • Why data is so important for marketing;
     
  • Capturing and using key member and profitability data;
     
  • Calculating a marketing campaign’s return on investment;
     
  • Top trends in credit union marketing today; and
     
  • Maximizing success when working with a marketing consultant.

 Registration is currently open for the webinar, which is scheduled to last 90 minutes.
