ALEXANDRIA, Va. (11/6/15)--Spanish-speaking credit union stakeholders can find valuable information in a new Spanish version of the National Credit Union Administration’s leadership videos.
The agency released the Spanish version of the first video in its leadership series Thursday.
The seven-part series is designed for managers of small and medium-sized credit unions. The first entry, titled “Programa de gobierno y responsabilidades” or “Government program and responsibilities,” contains information on development of control programs, qualities of effective leaders and boards and more.
The video also contains information on studies that help board members analyze the types of leadership problems they may face in their credit unions.
An online test for the video series is also available in Spanish, designed to allow users to evaluate what they learned from the video. Both versions of videos in English and Spanish give the user a certificate of completion when they obtain a satisfactory score.
According to the NCUA, the remaining videos in the series will be available in Spanish by the end of the year.
