MADISON, Wis. (11/19/15)--In support of the National Credit Union Foundation, CUNA Mutual Group has launched the #CUGiveBack holiday giving campaign.
Through the campaign, CUNA Mutual will donate $5 to the foundation for every photo or video shared with the company on social media showing acts of holiday giving or volunteering.
Using the hashtag #CUGiveBack and mentioning @CUNAMutualGroup, participants can use Twitter, Instagram or Facebook to upload the media. CUNA Mutual will donate up to $10,000 for the campaign.
“Credit unions were founded on the idea of people helping people,” said Robert Trunzo, CUNA Mutual Group president/CEO. “We want to celebrate this holiday season by focusing on the impact credit unions, their members and our employees make across the country.”
The resulting donation will allow the foundation to support 20 additional reality affairs next year, reaching 5,000 more students. The fairs, which teach students about money management, educate between 100 and 250 students per event.
