DES MOINES, Iowa (12/4/15)--Payments provider Dwolla will offer person-to-person (P2P) payments through SEQR, the platform designed by the Swedish firm Seamless.
By using Dwolla’s infrastructure, Seamless is able to launch peer-to-peer payments in the United States without having its own money transmitter licenses approved.
“Money transfers between private individuals is a very popular service in the U.S.,” said Peter Fredell, Seamless CEO. “Under the agreement with Dwolla, we can quickly offer SEQR’s U.S. customers a peer-to-peer service which, is something our customers in Europe already make great use of.”
The launch is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2016.
