BANGOR, Maine (12/7/15)--Bangor (Maine) FCU participated in the “Nickels with Noah” fundraiser celebration Dec. 2 at the Brewer Community School. Noah, an 11-year-old survivor of bacterial meningitis who was named Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals State of Maine Champion Child in 2014, is always coming up with ways to “pay it forward” after his experience growing up with the disease. The “Nickels with Noah” fundraiser is just one of the many ways he gets the community involved to help EMHS Foundation Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals accomplish his dream. Bangor FCU presented Noah with a check for $3,950.52, matching what Noah and his peers raised at the school.
