HARRISBURG, Pa. (1/7/16)--The Pennsylvania Credit Union Foundation this year celebrates 20 years of making a difference in people's lives.
Patrick Conway, president/CEO of the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association, said the foundation is the banner that unites Pennsylvania credit unions of all sizes in their work to support their communities, their members and the credit union movement. "(I)t is my sincerest wish that the foundation continues to unite credit unions for many years to come.”
The organization was established in 1996 in the wake of the tragic Oklahoma City Bombings. It supports both the statewide and national credit union movements.
The organization particularly strives to:
“This year will be an exciting one for the foundation,” said Kathleen Fey, foundation executive director. “Not only will we be celebrating the foundation’s 20th anniversary, which is a significant milestone in itself, but we will also have several exciting announcements being made soon.
“This will be a year of celebrating the past, and building into the future.”
