MEDFORD, Ore. (1/13/16)--Gene Pelham, president/CEO of Medford, Ore.-based Rogue CU, has been appointed to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s 12th District Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council (CDIAC).
The council provides input to Federal Reserve Bank senior management on economic and banking conditions, regulatory policies, payment issues, lending conditions and other matters of concern to depository institutions.
Pelham said he is looking forward to representing his region at the national level, and to contributing to the work of the CDIAC.
“This is an opportunity to give Southern Oregon a voice in key decisions affecting our region and nation,” Pelham said.
Pelham’s three-year term began Jan. 1. He joins two other credit union representatives on the council: Elizabeth Dooley, president/CEO, Educational Employees CU, Fresno, Calif., and David Doss, president/CEO, Arizona State CU, Phoenix.
