MADISON, Wis., and WASHINGTON (2/17/16)--The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) will host this year’s CUNA FUSE--Branch Operations & Business Development School, Aug. 15-18, in Las Vegas.
“Operations and business development intersect in a number of meaningful ways, and when credit unions fuse these departments, they unlock new possibilities of efficiency and growth,” said Ariel Bilskey, CUNA instructional design manager. “At CUNA FUSE, professionals in these two areas become more knowledgeable in their fields while also learning to work with those outside their field.”
Comprised of expert-led sessions and experiential learning activities, this event has tracks designed for credit union professionals in the business development and branch operations areas respectively.
In addition to field-specific content, students in both tracks take part in general sessions that examine how the two disciplines can collaborate. Attendees are encouraged to network both within and outside of their field throughout the event.
Attendees who complete the business development track of CUNA FUSE will have the opportunity to earn the Credit Union Business Development Professional (CUBDP) designation.
