WASHINGTON (2/29/16)--More than 13 hours of educational presentations, discussions and demonstrations will take place at the third annual Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors (NASCUS) Cybersecurity Symposium, scheduled for Aug. 1-2 in Chicago.
The two-day event will be led by Tom Schauer of CliftonLarsenAllen, an information technology, audit and compliance expert. Schauer’s company uses data breach simulation techniques to show financial institutions where their security weaknesses may be, and how scammers will try to exploit those weaknesses.
