WASHINGTON (3/2/16)--Credit union-friendly congressional candidates saw mostly positive results in primary elections in two states Tuesday. Arkansas, Alabama and Texas held congressional primaries, in addition to the 13 states that held presidential primaries.

The Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC) has given Shelby its maximum support, and the League of Southeastern Credit Unions has endorsed Shelby. Shelby's race, as well as the following races, were predicted to be closer than a number of other races Tuesday:
Each of the above candidates has received the maximum $5,000 donation from CULAC, and has the support of the Cornerstone Credit Union League.
