MADISON, Wis. (3/21/16)--The Credit Union National Association (CUNA), in partnership with CU Doctor LLC, will host a new event--CUNA HR Compliance School, Oct. 9-12 in Phoenix.
Designed for human resource (HR) and compliance professionals from credit unions of all asset sizes, the school will educate students on the regulatory requirements for HR operations.
“This program was created to fill a major gap in the marketplace: credit union-specific HR compliance training,” said Jared Ihrig, CUNA chief compliance officer. “We look forward to providing a breadth of regulatory knowledge for HR compliance.”
In sessions led by experienced compliance professionals, the school will provide an overview of all the major categories of HR regulations applicable to credit unions. By completing the school, students will be eligible to test for the Credit Union HR Compliance Professional (CUHRCP) designation, which reflects expertise in the subject matter.
Key regulatory issues addressed include:
