CUNA announced Jason Dorsey, chief strategy officer of The Center for Generational Kinetics, and Richard Lett, CEO of The LeClair Group, will deliver the keynote and closing presentations, respectively, at CUNA Lending Council Conference, to be held Oct. 30-Nov. 2, in Las Vegas.
“Jason and Richard both have interesting takes on leadership, strategy and teamwork--values that are essential to many of the challenges lending professionals face in their daily lives,” said Bob Stowell, conference committee chair and senior vice president/chief strategy officer for Firefly CU, Burnsville, Minn. “Their contributions to the CUNA Lending Council Conference will be invaluable, as lending professionals stand to benefit a great deal from their experience, knowledge and genuinely original ideas.”
In his role at The Center for Generational Kinetics, Dorsey studies companies’ behind-the-scenes operations and evaluates data in order to identify generational trends. His keynote will offer insight into the five generations of workers in today’s marketplace and strategies for optimizing a multigenerational team.
Lett comes to the conference with a large, eclectic resume of executive experience. For 30 years, he served as a royalty personal protection officer with Metropolitan Police, also known as Scotland Yard, for which he was named a member of the Royal Victorian Order. During his presentation, Lett will offer a “royal” perspective on leadership drawing on his one-of-a-kind background.
Joining Dorsey and Lett as main stage speakers are economic expert Elliot Eisenberg, who will deliver a comprehensive economic update, and, Denise Gabel, chief operating officer of Northwest Credit Union Association, who will serve as the emcee of the conference.
