Rudy Pereira

In the second episode of the CUNA News Podcast, Rudy Pereira, president/CEO of $1.8 billion asset Royal Credit Union in Eau Claire, Wis., discusses a topic that has long fascinated him: organizational culture.

Pereira says he wants Royal employees to stay with the credit union for a long time. But if they choose to leave, he wants them to remember it fondly as a great place to work.

Pereira has spent more than 25 years in the movement, mostly as a technology leader. Prior to taking over the reins at Royal in 2012, Pereira worked at Alliant, Kinecta Federal, Schools Financial, and Wescom credit unions.

He’s also well-known in the industry for his credit union professional development efforts in leadership positions with CUNA Councils.
