Madison, Wis. (October 15, 2015) – Credit Union Magazine has unveiled the 2015 class of Credit Union Rock Stars. This annual initiative salutes the passionate, creative, selfless individuals who have demonstrated outstanding innovation within their chosen field and in doing so have made the credit union movement a better, more interesting place.
Credit Union Magazine will profile these Rock Stars in a special International Credit Union Day edition in mid-October.
Over the past year, Credit Union Magazine subscribers have nominated their colleagues and peers for Rock Star recognition. The winning Rock Stars were then selected based on their drive to put bright ideas into action and champion the credit union ideal of “people helping people.”
“This year's Rock Stars display a shared passion for pushing their credit unions – and the movement – to fully embrace and spread the credit union difference,” said Ann Hayes Peterson, vice president and editor in chief of Credit Union Magazine. The lineup features high-energy leaders, innovators, marketers, social media gurus and more.
Credit Union Magazine will name another round of Rock Stars in 2016. Nominations will be accepted throughout the coming year at news.cuna.org/nominaterockstar.
