CUNA seeks feedback from member credit unions on the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and ways it may have adversely affected the way they can communicate with members. CUNA sent a survey to member credit unions this week as a way to best measure and present the compliance burdens and costs associated with the TCPA.
The Federal Communications Commission issued a TCPA order in July 2015. CUNA has raised concerns since then that the order is impeding communications between credit unions and members.
The confidential survey also includes an opportunity at the end to submit contact information if a credit union is interested in discussing TCPA concerns with CUNA staff.
