Credit unions are invited to participate in the Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy’s upcoming roundtable on financial issues, scheduled for June 26. The roundtable will focus on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) assessment process and recent request for information.
Specifically, it will examine CFPB’s recent notices of assessment for mortgage servicing rules and ability-to-repay/qualified mortgage, as well as the bureau’s request for information about the small business lending market.
The event will take place at the SBA’s Washington, D.C., headquarters on June 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. (ET).
Credit unions interested in attending the event should RSVP to Jennifer Smith, SBA’s assistant chief counsel for economic regulation and banking, at firstname.lastname@example.org and Leah Dempsey, CUNA senior director of advocacy and counsel, at email@example.com.
