Today, the House Appropriations subcommittee on financial services and general government committee met for a budget hearing on the Department of the Treasury.

CUNA has been actively outlining concerns to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Congress that credit unions are being subject to TCPA related class action litigation based on technical violations that cause little or no actual harm to consumers.
Additional information on the hearing can be found on CUNA’s Removing Barriers Blog.
Also scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m. (ET), the House Financial Services Committee will begin a markup up of 7 bills relating to modernizing flood insurance.
