PODCAST: How to execute a winning strategy

Four disciplines of strategy execution.

August 18, 2017

Jeffery Downs

A strategy without proper execution isn't worth the paper it's written on, says Jeff Downs, regional practice leader with FranklinCovey.

“If you look at all business leaders, one of the things they struggle with the most is translating strategy into execution,” Downs tells the CUNA News Podcast.

To teach leaders how to succeed, Downs uses FranklinCovey’s Four Disciplines of Execution practice.

He regularly works with organizations and individuals to execute on their most important goals. He'll speak about the four disciplines of execution at the CUNA CEO Council Conference in October.

His background includes national sales and training engagements with Fortune 500 companies.

Downs has worked as a senior business leader responsible for new product development, marketing, and sales in companies such as Comsense Inc. and Best Practice Systems Inc.
