The inaugural CUNA CEO Council Conference, held at the historic Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, attracted 70 credit union CEOs for a two-day, immersive series of discussions.
Attendees represent all regions of the country, and their credit unions vary in asset size from $14 million to nearly $18 billion.
CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle opened the conference with a message about the association’s efforts to increase awareness and prioritize advocacy.
Other sessions include strategy execution, developing high-functioning teams, varied business models, leadership, and long-range strategic planning.
The conference, which began Monday night with an opening reception, runs through Wednesday afternoon.
