CUNA announced the 647 credit union board members who earned pins and certificates through the CUNA Volunteer Achievement Program in 2017.
“These dedicated volunteers strengthened their knowledge in many different key areas through the program in 2017,” said Maegan Monson, CUNA instructional design manager. “They learned more about their leadership responsibilities, became more informed about the details of credit union operations and more, providing their credit unions with more confident leadership.”
With more than 40 courses to choose from, credit union board members can attain various levels of recognition after successful completion of courses. These courses can be attained in print, PDF, and online formats to best suit volunteer needs, schedules and preferred learning techniques.
