Lauren Williams has been named CUNA’s media relations manager.
Williams comes to the organization with a strong background in brand communications at the corporate level.
“Lauren brings a unique skillset to the table that will help CUNA and credit unions further strengthen relationships with the media,” said Douglas Kiker, CUNA’s chief strategic communications officer. “National Journal recently found that CUNA represents the views of the credit union industry and speaks for our entire membership more effectively than any other association studied in Washington, and we look forward to having Lauren on board to further contribute to our association.”
Prior to joining CUNA, Williams worked for Los Angeles-based agency, PMK*BNC, as an Account Executive for several high-profile clients in a variety of industries, providing services including media relations, corporate communications, sports marketing and digital/social media integrations.
