To provide more readily available finance knowledge to credit union professionals nationwide, CUNA has introduced the CUNA Credit Union Finance eSchool.
Endorsed by the CUNA CFO Council and created for finance professionals, managers and board members alike, this eSchool provides fundamental finance information as well as more specialized topics such as asset liability management (ALM), trend and peer group analysis.
“The need for financial training is beyond the duties of a chief financial officer,” said Amanda Schumacher, CUNA instructional design manager. “As all credit union business areas are exposed to the effects of financial decisions, it’s vital for them to have an opportunity to learn the basics.”
The live sessions will run Tuesdays and Wednesdays from May 15-June 6. Credit union professionals unable to attend the live sessions can also purchase the recorded sessions to be viewed on their own time.
