MADISON, Wis., and WASHINGTON (March 12, 2018) – In light of the uncertain and ever-changing nature of the future, CUNA has announced the CUNA Strategic Planning Roundtable, August 18-19, in Denver to help credit union leaders better prepare for future success.
“The most value that I think you’ll receive from attending the strategic planning roundtable is beyond the discussion we have that affect credit unions and even beyond the expertise that’s onsite to present some of the real nuances that are associated with these trends,” said Jeff Rendel, facilitator and speaker at the roundtable and president of Rising Above Enterprises. “Industry experts, credit union professionals and directors will come together to share ideas and help each other create stronger strategic plans.”
The event’s foundation is the research provided by the 2018-2019 CUNA Environmental Scan, exploring the newest trends affecting credit union growth and development. With the help of this research and industry experts like Jeff Rendel, credit union board members and CEOs can discuss their ideas, concerns and questions regarding their strategic planning processes.
“By having open and fluid conversations about your credit union’s future, you are building a stable foundation on which your credit union can grow,” said Maegan Monson, instructional design manager at CUNA. “The trends affecting credit unions today can be difficult to track, so it’s vital to learn and discover the ways you can prepare for future growth and implement innovative ideas in your strategic plan.”
Attendees will return home with the industry-data-based knowledge and the confidence they need to use industry data to lead their strategic planning process forward.
