The credit union's intranet is a treasure trove of information.
It's a place to store forms, house the employee directory, make company-wide announcements, or even share employee news.
But often it's difficult or time-consuming to update and not laid out in a user-friendly format so finding that information is difficult, says Michael Pisarek, co-founder of Bonzai Intranet.
Pisarek gave tips on how to make an employee intranet a tool that improves internal communication and employee engagement during an industry trends breakout session at CUNA's America's Credit Union Conference Friday in Boston.
"If you're building an intranet for everyone, everyone must be involved," he says. "No organization likes to have IT push a piece of software on them. You need to have multiple people involved because ultimately, your intranet should be a tool for everyone."
