MADISON, Wis., and WASHINGTON (August 14, 2018)- Two CUNA Financial Management eSchools are now scheduled for 2018, designed to provide credit union finance information to credit union staff. The Essentials eSchool will be held Thursdays from August 23-October 11, and the Advanced eSchool will be held Thursdays from October 18-December 13. Both are currently open for registration.

“Financial management is about making the best decisions with the information you have,” said Amanda Schumacher, instructional design manager, Credit Union National Association. “These eSchools give professionals the knowledge and skills they need to fully understand the financial decisions available to their credit unions.”

CUNA Financial Management School: Essentials is designed to provide a basic, comprehensive overview of financial concepts, including financial ratios, balance sheets and asset-liability management. CUNA Financial Management School: Advanced both builds off of these fundamentals and expands on them, teaching students to plot for long-term financial growth and analyze financial risk.

Each eSchool consists of eight sessions, each of which run for an hour and a half, and are designed to make financial education more accessible to credit union staff.

Recorded versions of both the Essentials and Advanced eSchools will also be available.
