CUNA has announced dates and registration information for CUNA Bank Secrecy Act Certification eSchool with NASCUS. This eSchool is designed to provide attendees with up-to-date information on the latest developments in recognizing and reporting illicit activities and remaining compliant with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
“Credit unions are faced with the serious responsibility of identifying and reporting violations of BSA/AML regulations,” said Melisa Kallestad, CUNA director of compliance education. “We’ve structured this eSchool not only to help credit unions fulfill that responsibility, but also to protect themselves and their members from evolving forms of money laundering and fraud.”
After completing weekly sessions, Wednesdays from Oct. 9 through Nov. 27, attendees will have the opportunity to earn Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS) certification.
