The Cooperative Trust announced this week 100 young credit union professionals that will “Crash the GAC” at CUNA’s upcoming Governmental Affairs Conference. This year marks the 10th year of the program, which allows young professionals to experience the industry’s largest advocacy conference with a complimentary registration to CUNA GAC.
“Credit unions must invest in their young talent as they seek to fill the leadership pipeline for our continued success as an industry. The Crash program is a great way to do that; it’s made big impacts on the careers of countless credit union young professionals since its inception in 2010,” said Lauren Culp, manager of The Cooperative Trust. “We’re so excited to work with CUNA again this year to bring this impact and leadership development to the biggest Crash the GAC class ever.”
The 100 crashers for the 2019 GAC have at least one representative from each state, and will attend special events during GAC, in addition to participation in the sessions and networking events.
Crash the GAC is sponsored by The Cooperative Trust and Filene Research Institute, and is made possible with the support of CUNA, and with help from credit union leagues/associations.
