Vice President Mike Pence lauded credit unions’ community service efforts during his appearance Tuesday at the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference.

Other highlights included a presentation from best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell, an update on the Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union Initiative, and an address from new CUNA Board Chair Brett Martinez, president/CEO of Redwood Credit Union in Santa Rosa, Calif.
