More than 250 credit union leaders have gathered in Anaheim, Calif., for the 25th annual CUNA Human Resources & Organizational Development (HR/OD) Council Conference.

Following are scenes from the opening day of the event.

 

  • Slide 01

    Attendees packaged bags of oranges and cucumbers for the Orange County Food Bank during a giveback event. The bags will be distributed at low-income elementary schools, senior food programs, and other programs.

  • Slide 02

    Baxter CU’s Lisa Baron, chair of the CUNA HR/OD Council Executive Committee, selects cucumbers to pack.

  • Slide 03

    Frontwave CU’s Sandra Spendlove finishes up to bags of produce. The group packaged nearly 11,000 pounds of food into more than 2,000 bags.

    Thirty leaders attended the HR Exchange to discuss challenges including employee experience and engagement, data analytics, the use of hiring assessments, and benefit trends.
