Breakouts explore cybersecurity risk, branch transformation

Going “all in,” communicating cybersecurity risk, and the realities of a branch transformation are among the topics attendees at the co-located CUNA Technology Council and CUNA Operations & Member Experience Council conferences will explore Friday in Chicago.

Keynote speaker Gian Paul Gonzalez will start the day by explaining the concept of going “all in” and why it’s vital to being fully committed to taking it to the next level.

During breakout sessions, attendees will learn about a variety of technology and operations/member experience topics.

On the technology side, attendees will explore ways to package unique services as a way to compete with fintechs; how to prioritize and identify opportunities to use automation; and how to measure and communicate cybersecurity risk in financial terms that executives and board members can understand.

For attendees interested in operations and member experience, breakout sessions will explore the realities of branch transformations, the various branch models, and hear from credit unions that have gone through a transformation; new trends in payments innovations; and how to staff contact centers with changing technology.
