Together Credit Union hosted its second annual Day of Giving, benefiting 23 local community organizations in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. More than 300 employees volunteered for service projects such as cooking, cleaning, landscaping, warehouse sorting, painting, and spending quality time with veterans, the infirm, and adoptable pets.
Nusenda Credit Union is once again participating in KOATs for Kids, a winter coat drive for children throughout New Mexico.
Hanscom Federal Credit Union, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., donated $1,000 worth of new toiletries, clothing, and personal care items to the VA Boston Healthcare System on the Brockton campus. The Brockton VA Medical Center offers both short- and long-term care to veterans, including rehabilitation, medical, psychiatric, and hospice care.
A+ Federal Credit Union in Austin, Texas, has formed a partnership with The Dog Alliance to sponsor service dogs for veterans through the Hounds for Heroes program.
GTE Financial Credit Union, Tampa, Fla., achieved Gold Level recognition from the American Heart Association’s 2019 Workplace Health Achievement Index for the second year in a row. Gold Level recognition is the highest status the American Heart Association confers on organizations for their health culture.
