Employees, members, and community partners of iQ Credit Union, Vancouver, Wash., raised $50,000 for OHSU’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital as part of iQ’s annual Spirit Week. Each year, iQ employees donate to participate in themed dress-up days such as Tropical Tuesday or Look-alike Friday. iQ also receives strong participation from members and community partners through in-branch and online donations.
Volunteers from Hanscom Federal Credit Union, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., prepared dinner for service members and their families at Fisher House Boston on Feb. 5. Fisher House Boston is located at the VA Boston Healthcare System, and provides no-cost lodging and logistical support for family members caring for hospitalized U.S. veterans.
Robins Financial Credit Union, Warner Robins, Ga., will again sponsor the entertainment stage at the 2020 Forsythia Festival. The festival is a free, family-fun event featuring arts and crafts, children’s fair, and live entertainment.

Volunteers from MAC Federal Credit Union, Fairbanks, Alaska, assembled 100 “Brain Booster” food kits—almost one ton of food—to be distributed to local school children through the Fairbanks Food Bank. MAC Federal partnered with Costco on the initiative. More food kits will be distributed in the coming months.
