Lawmakers appeared on stage during the general session at the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) Tuesday to give attendees an update on the work they’re doing on credit union-related legislation.

David Plouffe, president, policy and advocacy at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and campaign adviser for President Barack Obama in 2008, took a closer look at the 2020 election and the campaigns during a keynote address.

Attendees also heard from CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle on the importance of collaboration with system partners and American Association of Credit Union Leagues Chair Diana Dykstra about the important role leagues play.
