Twelve new supervisory committee designees announced

March 6, 2020

Twelve individuals earned their Certified Credit Union Supervisory Committee Member (CCUSC) designations during CUNA Supervisory Committee and Internal Audit Conference held last December in Las Vegas.

The CCUSC designation is a part of CUNA’s initiative to create confident, responsible credit union leaders by educating committee members and improving their decision-making skills.

The CCUSC designees are:

  • Johnny Acosta, One Source FCU
  • Rosetta Alexander, Heritage Trust FCU
  • Terry Barrett, One Source FCU
  • Brent Bomkamp, TAPCO CU
  • George Delcarlo, Great Basin FCU
  • Tara Jenkins, Hoosier Hills CU
  • Richard Macer, Erie FCU
  • Steve Maki, Otis FCU
  • David Smith, Complex Community FCU
  • Jose Villar, Nusenda CU
  • Arnold Wong, Pearl Hawaii FCU
  • David Young, Tucson FCU

“This program guides committee members toward credit union leadership, at which point they receive their CCUSC as proof of that leadership,” said Kienan Shaw, instructional design manager at Credit Union National Association. “We’re excited to see so many people taking advantage of this opportunity and showing their commitment to credit union excellence.”

For those unable to make last year’s CUNA Supervisory Committee & Internal Audit Conference and interested in earning their CCUSC designation, the 2020 conference will be held from December 6-9, 2020 in Las Vegas.
