Many other CUNA leaders were also interviewed during GAC, including CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle, Chief Advocacy Officer Ryan Donovan, Chief Engagement Officer Greg Michlig, Executive Director of Credit Union Awareness Chris Lorence, Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer and Senior Counsel Elizabeth Eurgubian, Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer for Political Action Trey Hawkins, Senior Policy Analyst Samira Salem, Senior Director of Advocacy for Payments and Cybersecurity Lance Noggle and Manager of Small Credit Union Initiatives Tom Sakash.

Those interviews are available here, here and here.

Ihrig addressed compliance challenges and trends for 2020, including Bank Secrecy Act updates, cybersecurity, customer due diligence, the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act and more. He also gave an update on the Credit Union Compliance System.

Miller discussed AACUL’s mission and to cultivate the success of both individual leagues and the league system, as well as how AACUL partners with CUNA to bring Leagues and credit unions together to advance system goals.
