CUNA/Leagues seek stories of CUs meeting members’ needs during pandemic

March 13, 2020
Coronavirus

As credit unions prepare to offer services to members affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19), CUNA and Leagues are seeking information on exactly how credit unions are meeting member needs as they arise. Credit unions can submit information here on how they are supporting members and employees.

“Credit unions are ‘people helping people’ through good times and bad, and while it’s unclear exactly what the impact of coronavirus will be, people around the country will experience economic effects, particularly vulnerable populations,” said CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle. “As you plan for how you can support your members and employees during a global pandemic, we want to know what you’re doing to provide relief. Providing this information will help us share the credit union difference as we continue to advocate for our movement.

CUNA has launched a coronavirus resource page to track the latest information and how it may affect CUNA events and conferences, as well as guidance and other information from regulators.
