CUNA, League ads available to spotlight CU pandemic services

One of several graphics accompanying digital ads CUNA has prepared for credit unions to use to reach out to members and communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

CUNA, the Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) and Northwest Credit Union Association (NWCUA) have released video and digital advertisements that credit unions can use to inform members and communities how they are responding to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

The ads are part of a wide-ranging set of resources in the CUNA/American Association of Credit Union Leagues COVID-19 Response Center, located under the “Messaging and ads for digital channels” tab.

A set of radio and digital audio ads are designed to show credit unions at their best, here to help with emergency loans and other products designed to help members get through this time of financial uncertainty.

They are available in .mp3 and .wav formats, and in 30- and 60-second versions, and refer listeners to AmericasCreditUnions.org. They can be found, along with accompanying graphics, on CUNA’s Member Activation Program (MAP) Community, which has been opened to call CUNA member credit unions.

Additionally, MCUL produced a series of videos reminding credit union members that credit unions are open for businesses, remain fully insured and are taking the safety of their members and employees very seriously.

These videos are available for credit unions across the country to deploy across their digital channels.

The NWCUA has also produced three videos for each of the states the League represents, Idaho, Oregon and Washington, featuring former NCUA Board Chair Rick Metsger reminding credit union members that “they have a partner ready to help” in their credit union.

Videos customized for Oregon and Idaho are also available on the League’s YouTube page.

The COVID-19 Response Center also contains compliance, cybersecurity, and member support services resources, among others.
